Artist's Comments
The things we do to make our homes more welcomeing. Some of it, well, most of it, makes me kind of sad. This pot made me so lonely, and it felt so desolate.
At the same time, a tired sort of pride made me take its picture. Our synthetics will long outlast us, and to me, the sense of endurence and resolution prompted the camera shuttters. Ultimately, it is a bitter cacophony of mixed emotions. |
